Events & Attractions in Devon 2025
Devon is set to host a vibrant array of events throughout 2025, catering to diverse interests from music festivals and airshows to historical tours and food fairs. Half Moon at Sheepwash provide a details, a comprehensive month-by-month guide to some of the county's most anticipated events and attractions in Devon.
The Pizza Oven is now running every Friday evening during the Summer months from 5:30 - 7:30pm
Pre- ordering is not necessary but always advisable!

Entertainment at The Half Moon
Over the past few years, we have worked hard to organise more events at the pub, offering something for everyone.
We have held live music performances from the Mariners Away, Big Al & The Fairweather Friends, Bandamonium, plus the Winkleigh Morris Dancers have performed at our inn. The pub continues to host it’s monthly quiz nights and we have introduced themed nights and pizza nights, We hope to continue organising events for the village and visitors, especially in the Summer months. This is a great tradition to embrace and a great piece of culture to experience.
We‘ve also begun to hold car meets in the village square just outside the pub, and hope to host more with different car clubs and vintage car owners.

One of our biggest events of the Summer is the Bandamonium Brassband Festival!
Festivals & Live Music
The Bandamonium Festival is a non-competing Brass Band festival in West Devon. Bands play in 6 village locations on the Saturday afternoon before all meeting up in Hatherleigh Square for massed bands in the evening.
We are lucky to have been a part of the festival since its beginning in 2022. In 2024 we hosted 18 bands, performing all day outside the inn. Bandamonium is a free event and this year at the Half Moon we hosted a BBQ and Pizza oven for what was a great day of food and live music! This year Bandamonium even provided their own ale which went down a storm!
We can’t wait for Bandamonium 4 which will take place on the 16th August 2025.
Wednesday Theme Nights
Our popular Wednesday Theme Nights run through the Winter Months.
We began our themed nights in 2023, and they were a great success. We have enjoyed food such as Steak, Italian, Fish, Tapas, Mexican, Asian and French Classic.
Take a look at the themes that took place in 2024/25. Themed dinners begin at 6:30pm with all guests being served at 7pm. To maintain quality, these evenings will follow a taster menu format after its success at French Night. Bookings will also require a £10 per person deposit.
