The food at The Half Moon Inn is authentic Devon Style Cuisine and freshly cooked using local and seasonal produce from local food suppliers. Our menu is predominately home-made and is changed regularly to reflect seasonal variances. Our Chef and his team produce a daily specials board (see example below) and will cater for customers with specific dietary needs. It is important that you discuss these with our trained staff before placing your order.

Prior booking is strongly recommended for all bookings so please call us or fill in the ‘contact us’ form, especially if you are planning a special lunch, evening or dinner party and to advise us of any dietary requirements.

Please also note that if you are over 15 minutes late for your table and do not inform us, it may be given up and re-used

Dining Spaces

In our restaurant and dining areas we can cater for small and large groups of up to 60 people, in a number of dining configurations

We have several dining areas to suit most needs, including:

The Dining Room - Which can cater for small (1-10), medium (10-20) and large gatherings up to 60 people.

The Bar - Informal dining with intimate seating for groups up to 10 people.

Outside - The outside seating area provides warm weather space for everyone to enjoy the picturesque square and laid-back ambiance of Sheepwash.
