Dining at the half moon has changed!
Our resident chef Paul Tapping is a partner in the business, and has considerable experience in the hotel,
restaurant and pub trade, he originally trained in The Royal Navy, and latterly was Head Chef at the Royal Marines Officers
Mess where he cooked for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second and many heads of state.

Our dining room is open each evening from 6.30 (7.00 on Sundays out of season), and on Sunday lunchtimes when traditional Sunday lunch is served (along with the a la carte menu). However should you prefer lunch to be served in the dining room in the week or on Saturday lunchtime we are happy to do this.
Bar meals are served every day from 12.00noon until 2.00pm, and from 6.30pm until 9.00pm (7.00pm on Sundays out of season).
